Hi Sudharsan,
JIPMER is one of the top medical colleges of India and it conducts its own exam and doesn't come under NEET. The questions asked are quite standard and serve a good balance among questions of all difficulty levels. This year onwards they also started negative marking system.
So aspirants all over the country compete for 200 MBBS seats (50 in Karaikal). It all depends on your percentile (relative performance).
So study well, practise previous year papers of JIPMER, and give your best.

I got 56% PCB in phy,chem and Bio. But I have 61% if I include Eng. Am I eligible for Jipmer 2018 and AIIMS entr(gen)admission

According this percentage in class 12th you are eligible to apply for JIPMER & AIIMS as You should have minimum 50% PCB score to apply for JIPMER & 60% PCB & English score in class 12th. You can check the further eligibility with the given below link.

It is one of the important documents that is needed by the school authorities of the new school where the student wants to pursue his further education.

In jipmer 2018,what will the eligible mark for obc

Hello Saveetha,
Although qualifying percentile for OBC candidates will be 40 th percentile like the last year, you need to score a lot more than that to actually bag a seat.
Last year closing rank for OBC quota went upto rank 134 in Puducherry and rank 115 in Karikal . Similar values are expected for this year also.

There is no upper age limit in JIPMER. The lower age limit is 17 years.

College Infrastructure

For MPH there only 18 seats, I was fortunate enough to get admission, air conditioned classrooms, Hostel is above average, mess could be better. hostel room has all the required things, cupboard, bedding etc. has a playground and library.
