48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Electronics and Communication Engineering with a specialization in Advanced Communication Technology is a four-year (8 semesters) full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered at the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida.
The programme is designed to focus on Advanced Communication Technology like 5G, Massive multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO), Beam Forming through Advanced Digital Signal Processing, Device to Device (D2D) communication, Millimeter Wave (mm-Wave) technologies etc. In coherence with current focus of Government of India on 5G to increase GDP, creating employment, and digitizing the economy, this program is designed to train engineering students in consonance with Government of India (GOI) and the requirements outlined by AICTE. Focusing on skilling in advanced communication standards like 5G and related technologies to build the foundation of a digital economy, JIIT is dedicated to become a part of this endeavour to fulfil the demand for more skilled manpower with rapidly changing dynamics.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates’ date of birth as recorded in the High School/Secondary Education Board Certificate should fall on or after October 01, 2002.
- Candidates with gap year (if any) between their 10+2 and admission to B.Tech, Integrated M.Tech, will be required to submit Gap Period affidavit available at the University Website.
- Candidates should have minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) aggregate in 10+2 or its equivalent examination.
- The candidate should have passed or appeared in 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one subject out of Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subjects, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics and Business Studies.
Admission Details
Admissions are offered based on the scores of JEE (Main) 2026.
Counselling will be based on merit. Shortlisted candidates eligible for counselling will be informed by email on registered mail ID’s. List of candidates will also be uploaded in the website.
