For admission to the B,Sc. Biotechnology program aat Kavayitri Bahinabi Chaudhari North Mahastra University ( KBCNMU) in 2025, there is no seperate entrance exam conducted by the university. Admissions are based on a Centralized Admission Procedure ( CAP), which considers the merit of your class 12 ( HSC) marks.
Eligibility Criteria :
To apply for B.SC Biotechnology program, you must:
- Have completed Class 12 (HSC) with Biology as one of the subjects.
- Secure at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories may have a relaxation in the minimum required marks.

Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University (NMU) was established in 1990. University offers UG, PG and PhD programmes. Admission in different courses are based on Merit and Entrance Exams. For MCA integrated course eligibility is to Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology or Technical Vocational Subject with 45% marks.
