Nandurbar Taluka Vidhayak Samiti's G.T. Patil Arts, Commerce and Science College was established in 1964 with the mission of empowering students from tribal and rural areas of Nandurbar. It is permanently affiliated with Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, and is recognized under UGC Sections 2(f) and 12(B). The college has grown into a reputed institution over the decades, known for providing quality education and fostering holistic development among its students. 

The college is situated on a sprawling 29.94-acre campus, offering a peaceful and conducive environment for academic growth. It has been accredited by NAAC with an 'A' grade (CGPA 3.10) in its second cycle in 2015. Additionally, it holds an ISO 9001:2015 certification, highlighting its commitment to maintaining high academic and administrative standards. 

Nandurbar Taluka Vidhayak Samiti's G.T. Patil Arts, Commerce and Science College  is Affiliated College of Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. G.T. Patil College has received multiple awards for its excellence. Notably, in 2015, it won the Best College Award from North Maharashtra University. Several faculty members have earned honors such as the Best Teacher Award and State Ideal Teacher Award. Over the years, the college has also hosted prominent leaders, including former Prime Ministers and the President of India, during significant events such as its golden jubilee celebrations. 

The college offers a BA. programme with an intake of 120 students.The Bachelor of Commerce programme admits 180 students. Nandurbar Taluka Vidhayak Samiti's G.T. Patil Arts, Commerce and Science College admission is based on 12th standard marks, with preference often given to students from the Commerce stream, although students from other streams may also apply.The B.Sc programme has an intake of 220 students. Nandurbar Taluka Vidhayak Samiti's G.T. Patil Arts, Commerce and Science College admission is largely done based on the marks secured at the 12th standard level with a preference given to Science stream students. 

There are different Master of Arts courses- History (90), Hindi (72), Economics (90), Marathi (144), English (72), Geography (20) and Psychology (40). Candidates are admitted by the marks of the corresponding undergraduate degree.The college offers several M.Sc programmes that include Computer Science, Chemistry, Geography, Zoology, Physics, Mathematics, and Botany. Each programme has an intake of 30 studentsIn the Master of Commerce course, 162 students are admitted every year. They have to get eligible by the marks obtained in B.Com or other equivalent degree.The college offers doctoral programmes in Psychology, Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, and Botany, each with 8 seats (16 for Chemistry).
