Bachelor of Commerce is three years (6 Semester) full-time undergraduate program in Commerce stream offered by Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara.

40 Courses having 120 Credits shall be offered in Total Number of Six Semesters at F.Y. B.Com., S.Y. B.Com., & T.Y. B.Com.

Objectives: The Course will enable students to understand the concepts relating to Business, Accounting, Structure, and Process of Business, Functional Management, Economics, Business & Communication Skills; Statistics, Marketing, HRM, Entrepreneurship, Marketing Research, Legal Aspects of Business Banking, and Indian Economic Structure.

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate must have passed in the Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C) Examination (XII^th Standard) in ANY STREAM of Gujarat Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar or its Equivalent Examinations of Any Other Examining Body recognized equivalent thereto with ENGLISH as a Compulsory Subject.
Maximum 5 % of the approved intake capacity of F. Y. B. Com. [with effect from Academic Year 2013-2014] shall be given admission to those students who have passed/appeared in the Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C) Examination (XII^th Standard) of Gujarat Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar or its Equivalent Examinations of Any Other Examining Body recognized equivalent thereto with ENGLISH as a Compulsory Subject other than 12^th Commerce.
Admissions for F.Y B.Com at units of Faculty of Commerce will be subject to Minimum of 45% aggregate marks secured at H.S.C [12^th Standard Examination] or it's equivalent for Baroda (Local) Including Baroda District Students, and Minimum of 55% aggregate marks secured at H.S.C. [12^thStandard Examination] or it's equivalent for all other students considering availability of number of seats (as per S.R. No. 15, 26/06/2015).
Admissions for F.Y B.Com at M.K Amin Arts & Science College And College of Commerce, Padra will be subject to Pass at H.S.C [12^th Standard Examination] or it's equivalent for Baroda (Local) Including Baroda District Students, and Minimum of 50% aggregate marks secured at H.S.C [12^thStandard Examination] or its equivalent for all other students considering availability of number of seats (as per S.R. No. 18, 29/07/2016).

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of MSU Vadodara is very good. There are clean classroom, smart board ,Library, Laboratory,Benches etc. Hostel facility is good. In the Library there are so many books.Canteen is so neat and clean.

College Infrastructure

MSU Baroda's Faculty of Commerce infra is basic but solid gold for a govt uni-huge campus with everything you need without fancy extras. Classrooms are spacious with projectors for accounting lectures, fans/AC in key spots, and boards that don't ghost out. Commerce labs have computers for tally practice and stats software; not top-tier but reliable for group assignments. The library's legendary-massive, hi-tech with commerce journals, e-resources, and quiet zones open late for exam preps. Hostels are affordable (₹40 mess meals, clean rooms), sports fields for cricket/football, and a big auditorium for sem fests. Canteen's cheap chai-samosa heaven. Downsides? Some buildings feel old-school, Wi-Fi spotty in peaks, maintenance lags post-monsoon. But green lawns and walkable campus make it chill. Beats my coaching classes-practical for B.Com basics like business law. For 10k fees, it's unbeatable comfort.

It has one of the best infrastructure of a university within Gujarat, It has clean living space, WIFI, AC's and well maintained buildings. Even though the college is at the centre of the city. You can consider this college as highlight of Vadodara
