Placements here are pretty good, as it is an institute of national importance. About 80% of the students were placed last year with a package of 9.5 LPA being the highest package in chemical engineering! Several multinational companies visited like Reliance, Deloitte, TCS etc. HPCL, one of the PSUs also picked some students last year! All students got an internship from the college and 30000/- per month was the highest stipend offered for three months. The faculty is very cooperative with students. The latest technology is used in teaching. Also, not only theoretical knowledge is being taught, practical experiences are also being given at the same time! What I feel about the course curriculum is that it needs to be revised a little bit, but then it's good, as in the end we are being taught everything!

MNIT - Jaipur provides a good platform for students who have passion and excellence for technology-driven ideas. Academics schedule is very planned and structured. Quality and methodology of teaching is par excellence and meets the standards of todays market demand. Students are facilitated with high-standard library and computer labs. To create technical manpower for meeting the current and future demands of industry: To recognize education and research in close interaction with industry with emphasis on the development of leadership qualities in the young men and women entering the portals of the Institute with sensitivity to social development and eye for opportunities for growth in the international perspective.

When I entered the college, I thought its a college with no good infra and no good profs. But later I realized the awesome things this college can offer: Freakin LIBERTY. You can do anything, literally anything. You want to study get good grades, your choice. You wish to do something in research, you will have to take some efforts but there are Prof's who will guide you and not to forget the Director of the college who is all in for research/good projects in the college. You want to play sports, not great infra but steadily its getting better. You want to smoke, drink, do nothing and just pass, go ahead. You want to work on a startup, most welcome. You want to organize events, 2 in a year not very good though. Dramatics, its there. Robotics, its there. Music band, not there but you can start one, people have started getting enthu about guitars and drums. [A coaching nearby has also helped :D ] Want to prepare for CAT. Want to prepare for IAS, GATE etc. all sort of coaching institutes are there. You are a foodie, dang you are in the right place. No traffic, good places to hangout, not costly, awesome Farewells [Not by College, but your juniors] This college literally gives you one thing that every college student aspire for TIME, you have it go and make something out of it.

Reason why my title goes like this is beacuse this college provides you immense opprotunity to learn and gain knowledge but when it comes to placement, it disappoints a hell lot. Faculties are esteemed and high class. They are truly dedicated to teach. Infra is good with a very large lecture theatre complex, VLTC and an awesome administrative building, Prabha Bhawan. Besides this hostel acconodation is quite good. Gargi and Aurbindo are high class hostels. But, it layback when it comes to food. Mess' food is barely eatable. And, a recent hike in Mess' bill has engrossed strong oppose by students. Annapurna and Air toasts are the canteens which provide average food, not that Mindblowing. One of the major plus point of this college is its locality. Perhaps the only NIT situated at the heart of the town surrounded by GT and WTP , hub of recreation in Jaipur. My overall personal experience about the college is nice and satisfying. Authorities are helpful and I gained a lot there. But, for sure there is quite a lot scope of improvement.

Infrastructure is the only disappointing factor. Due to Jaipur city a plus point for this college. College location in Jaipur is very good. Due to very less distance from Mumbai and Delhi many other kind of opportunities are here. One of the premier college chain tag helps it's graduates. Very good global reputation associated with this college. Peace ful college with the great environment of Jaipur city. For hangout with friends there are a lot of places .
