MNIT Jaipur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The instructional buildings have been so located that these are fairly near to both the hostels and the staff quarters and are at a walking distance from both.

MNIT Jaipur facilities include separate hostels for girls. All the necessary facilities are available for the students. Recreational facilities such as sports, cafeteria, a common room, a TV room, etc.

Full-fledged Dispensary is available in the campus. It is supervised by a residential Medical Officer. The services of a part-time Homeopathy Doctor and a Lady Doctor are also available to students and to the family members of the staff.

MNIT Jaipur has a spacious and well-equipped library which is being run according to an open access system. It has a rich collection of about 1,33,600 volumes of books, periodicals, reports and reference material. In addition to the books from the main library, some more books are issued to students from the book bank also. To the students belonging to the weaker section(SC/ST), some additional books are given from the Book Bank. Xeroxing facility is available to the users at very nominal rate. There is a video viewing facility. Large number of books, periodicals, video cassettes and CD-ROMs are available. The library is being fully computerized. The CDNET facilities are to be developed very soon. The library has procured LIBSYS Software(Multi-user) and started the computerisation of in-house data.

NIT Jaipur facilities are available for sports and games and for co-curricular activities. The campus is well laid out with roads, electrical installations, water supply and underground drainage system etc.

The Computer Centre, a centralised computing facility of the Institute since 1989, caters to the need of different academic departments and various sections of the Institute by providing and managing extensive computing & networking facilities to the Institute. To facilitate the use of the latest information technology in the Institute's teaching, learning, research and administration; to provide an excellent network environment that facilitates the access and exchange of information; to put innovation in technology transfer; to assist the Institute in its mission; to enable faculty, staff and students to use the computer and network resources effectively and efficiently; and to aim to provide the best quality IT services in the region, the Computer Centre at MNIT Jaipur has continued to re-engineer the process of its service operations for increased productivity and better quality.

One canteen near the instructional zone, another near the hostels and one Nescafe coffee shop provide refreshments to the students and the staff during and beyond the working hours.

There is a branch of the ICICI Bank Ltd. and a branch of SBI Bank in the campus. Other reputed banks such as BOB, OBC, and PNB etc. are within walking distance from the institute campus.

There are two guest houses in the campus to cater the needs of guests and students.
