B.Tech Dairy Technology - Batch of 2028-01-01
Academics
Academically speaking, NDRI really sets up a solid spot for learning and digging into research. Classrooms come with good projectors and all sorts of digital stuff, so lectures actually pull you in. The labs stand out as a major plus. Students get to work hands on with current dairy gear and actual processing setups. That kind of thing connects what you learn in books to real life pretty well. Then theres the main library, which has tons of books, journals, and online materials to back up classes or deeper projects. Sure, a few older spots might need some freshening up. But in general, the whole academic setup at NDRI gives you a great base for focused work and coming up with new ideas.
College Infra
The campus at NDRI in Karnal is something special. It feels beautiful and peaceful, with all that green space thats kept nice and open. Classrooms and labs there are pretty modern. They help with real studying. The library stands out too. Students can find tons of stuff in it. Hostels come across as homey. They have the basics, Wi-Fi, and spots to chill in common rooms. Then theres sports areas, a medical spot, even guest houses. All that keeps things comfy on campus. Sure, some older buildings need fixing up. Still, the whole setup makes student days go easy and fun.
Campus Life
The campus stretches out big and full of green spaces. It gives off this peaceful vibe. But it never gets dull or anything. The hostels are pretty solid, you know. Wi-Fi runs smooth enough. Mess food is just okay, nothing special. They celebrate festivals like Diwali and Holi with everyone joining in. That ones the highlight, full of real fun. Clubs pop up everywhere. Sports fields too. And plenty of open areas to just chill with friends. Sometimes it feels a little strict around here. Still, that discipline sort of holds everything together nicely. Campus life comes across homely in a way. Lively too, pretty much all the time.
Placements
NDRI has some solid placement options going on. Especially in that B.Tech Dairy Technology program. Recruiters like Amul and Nestle show up. Mother Dairy too. And Tetra Pak. Average packages hover around 7 to 8 LPA. Top offers push to 11 or 12 LPA. Pretty much all eligible students land spots. Though lots of them pick higher studies instead. Placements feel reliable. Industry-focused in a real way.
Value For Money
The fees stay pretty reasonable. Still the campus turns out solid along with those labs and classrooms and the library too. Placements average around 7 to 8 LPA which is not bad at all. Plus they offer scholarships for folks in PG or PhD programs. So the whole thing pays back fast enough. You end up with strong education and real chances without dropping too much cash.

Ndri karnal for btech food technology or bhu for BTech food technology which is better and about placement ??
NDRI Karnal offers very reliable placements in Dairy/Food Tech with 80–90% placement rate and average packages around rs. 4–6 LPA (top rs. 12–15 LPA).
BHU Food Tech is newer but benefits from IIT-BHU collaboration, with B.Tech placements showing much higher averages (rs. 20 LPA+) and some top offers crossing rs.
