Batch of 2016 | B.Tech Production Engineering
Some seniors got really good packages of around 20 lakh/annum. 60-70% of students got placed. The highest package was around 21 lakhs, the lowest was around 3 lakhs and the average was 6-7 lakhs. Companies like TCS, Schneider, Tata etc. come for placements. Roles like working under superior engineers and managing roles were given. Only a few students got internship from college, around only 10-15%. The highest stipend was 5 lakhs, the lowest was around 1 lakh and average was 1.5 lakhs. The faculty members teach well but they are not supportive. Most of them don't support extra-curricular activities and sometimes threaten to fail in exams. There is a need of well-qualified professors as most of the faculty members here are ad-hoc. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. No industry exposure is provided. The course curriculum is very useful.

Batch of 2019 | B.Tech Production Engineering
College life is excellent and Nit, Calicut is now among top three nits of India. Placements are far better than any other nits or even new iits. Infrastructure is very good and many facilities are provided to the students. Even there is too much exposure to students to participate in many things. The faculty is normal just but more talented faculty can be recruited. Also about 180 companies visited the campus so it's too good for placement.
