Eligibility Criteria

A candidate have passed the B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. in relevant discipline or any degree recognized as equivalent thereto by the N.I.T. Raipur with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate in the qualifying examination. However, the eligibility criteria may vary from time to time as per decision of the Senate. Relaxation up to 5% of marks or 0.5 CGPA can be allowed by Senate for sponsored Candidates with proven research or professional experience.

Admission Details

Only GATE qualified candidates are admitted to M.Tech. Programmes. Seats are reserved for various categories i.e. ST/SC/OBC as per norms. When GATE qualified candidates are not available, admissions are given to those who are not qualified in GATE on the basis of merit as detailed in P.G. regulation. Few seats are also available for sponsored candidates. Sponsored candidates are not eligible to receive scholarship even if they are GATE qualified.

College Infrastructure

My college does have the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment but my department lacks a little bit behind technology like projectors and smart are not being used. The laboratories and library are well equipped in our labs there are all necessary microscopes and different rock samples. The wifi connectivity is pretty good. The living space is good and the food is also hygenic. The sport centers and hostels are also good.
