Hello Aryan,

With a CLAT 2025 rank of 4848 in the EWS category, your chances of getting admission to the top National Law Universities (NLUs) might be slim, but you may secure a seat in some of the lower-ranked NLUs, especially those with higher intake capacities or in emerging locations. Colleges like NLU Odisha (Cuttack), NLU Assam, or NLU Ranchi might be within reach. Additionally, you can consider private law colleges that accept CLAT scores, such as NMIMS, UPES Dehradun, or MIT WPU.

Keep an eye on the counseling rounds as cutoffs fluctuate based on seat availability and category reservations. Participate in all counseling rounds to improve your chances.

I would recommend you to use CLAT College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

If you have taken seat through CLAT as a backup plan you can withdraw your admission from an NLU (National Law University) to pursue admission in NEET, but you should check the specific withdrawal policies of your NLU and potential fee implications involved with withdrawing from your current program.

Generally it takes time to withdraw admission and iys a long process if your college is not cooperative so you might get some trouble in future because if they dont give your documents on time the NEET counselling may get closed.so make sure the college into which you are getting admission is reputed and will not create issue in future.

All the best for future!!

Based on the previous year information, it is difficult to determine which NLU you will get into with the score of 21 marks. The cutoffs for NLUs vary each year, and it also depends on the number of seats available and the number of applicants. However, looking at the previous year's CLAT cutoff for OBC category students, in order to get into some good NLUs, you must get a score of 85 plus.

It is recommended to keep an eye on the CLAT cutoffs for the current year and apply to the NLUs accordingly but if you see last year cutoff then it is not possible for you to get any nlu at such score however you are eligible to apply for private law university such as amity university sharda University etc.

Hello there,

Yes, you can appear for the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) again, even if you are already studying in an NLU (National Law University). There is no restriction on appearing for CLAT multiple times. Many students take the exam again in subsequent years if they wish to improve their score, switch to a different NLU, or pursue a different specialization.

However, make sure to check the eligibility criteria and any updates regarding the exam rules, as the policies could change over time. Generally, the eligibility requirements for CLAT do not prevent students already enrolled in any NLU from taking the test again.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Hello,

CLAT scores and NLUs rank cut-offs may differ every year as this varies with the number of applications, level of competition, and reservation policy-wise cuts.

With a general category score of 85 in CLAT 2025, you may find it difficult to get into the top NLUs like NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, or NLUD Delhi. But you could have chances in newer NLUs or NLUs with higher cut-offs. Here are some options to consider:

Possible NLUs for a Score of 85:

  • NLU Assam
  • MNLU Aurangabad or Nagpur
  • DSNLU Vizag
  • HPNLU Shimla

To get an accurate picture, use a CLAT rank predictor or college predictor tool available  to get your admission possibilities analyzed by using these tools based upon previous trends.

Hello,

With a CLAT score of 41 in the OBC NCL women category, it is unlikely that you will get admission to any of the top National Law Universities (NLUs), but you might have a chance at private colleges depending on the specific seat availability and cut-offs for that category in those institutions.

You can consider following colleges:

1.Symbiosis Law School - [SLS], Pune.

2.Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT)

3.Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida.

4.Indian Law Institute, New Delhi.

5.ILS Law College - [ILS], Pune.

6.Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College - [NLC], Pune.

7.School of Law, Christ University - [SLCU], Bangalore

Moreover l, CLAT COUNSELLING 2025 starts from 11th December stay tuned!!!

Unfortunately, with a score of 35 in CLAT pg 2024 (assuming general category), chances of securing a seat in a top or even a second third-tier NLU are very slim. The difficulty level of CLAT 2024 was considered easier, leading to potentially higher cut-offs across NLUs.

However, that doesn't mean there aren't other options for you! Here's what you can consider you may opt for private colleges like Symbiosis Law School, Amity Law School, and Nirma University accept CLAT scores and offer strong academic programs and placement opportunities.Research options based on your location, specializations, and fees.

Or you may try some state law university with your score but your marks is so low so there is little chance.

CLAT COUNSELLING 2025

Hello

To assess your chances of admission to an NLU (National Law University) under the OBC category with a Uttar Pradesh domicile , several factors come into play :

1. Your CLAT Score : You mentioned a score of 62.25 . The cutoff for NLUs varies each year depending on factors like :

Total candidates appearing.

Difficulty level of the exam.

Category-specific cutoffs.

Number of seats available.

2. Past Trends for NLUs:

For OBC candidates , NLUs with lower ranks (like NLU Lucknow or NLU Ranchi) generally have cutoffs ranging from 50-65 for less competitive years.

Higher-ranked NLUs (like NALSAR or NLU Delhi) typically have higher cutoffs, often above 80+ for OBC categories .

3. Uttar Pradesh Domicile Advantage:

Some NLUs give a significant advantage to state domicile candidates. For example, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya .

Thank you

Hello

The National Law Universities ( NLUs ) in India have a variable cutoff for each category and the marks required for admission can depend on the NLU you are targeting .

For the VJ NT category , the cutoff will be lower than the general category but higher than the reserved categories like SC/ST .

As of the recent years , the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) cutoffs for VJNT candidates in NLUs range from 90 to 120 marks out of 150 , depending on the specific NLU .

It is important to check the official cutoff for the particular NLU you are interested as the cutoffs may vary annually based on factors like the number of applicants , exam difficulty and seat availability .
