Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (Hons) is a full-time four-year Undergraduate degree course and it is offered by Presidency University, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

a) Candidates must have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 system) conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal, or any equivalent examination.

b) Candidate must pass any of the aforementioned examinations, with at least five recognized subjects (full marks not less than 100), including English language and excluding Environmental Science. The aggregate is to be calculated considering score in best four recognized subjects.

c) Candidates with International ‘A’ level or International Baccalaureate qualifications must have at least three subjects at the IGCSE level and three subjects at the ‘A’ level, with English in either of the two levels.

d) The candidate must secure a minimum aggregate score in percentage

The infrastructure is an old and classic feel because of its heritage, building The library is definitely one of the best parts, with a huge collection of books and a peaceful atmosphere for studying.

College Infrastructure

My university has all the necessary infrastructure needed for the different deparments. The science departments get all the proper labs and equipment. There are large lecture rooms for joint courses like AECC,etc. The university has two large libraries. One for science and one for arts. There are two canteens as well. The whole campus is cleaned daily and all the labs and euipment are well mentained. Students also get access to wifi and medical assistance if needed.
