TISS Mumbai offers on-campus placements to almost all its students in various top FMCG companies & other reputed organizations. If you are not looking for a job, then you can join as an intern in various companies that come for recruitment in the college itself & also provides a decent stipend. The average salary offered is 15-20 LPA. Top companies such as Colgate Palmolive, Taj Group, Udaan, Walmart and Dell EMC offers recruitment for HRM students.

Tata Institute of Social Science college is present in Mumbai. There are law course offered for studying. Due to research the college infrastructure is very good. There free WiFi available in whole campus. Hostels are very clean and canteen foods are good. Placement also good here. The highest package of salary 8 lpa. And the lowest package of salary here 3lpa. So many students got intership from here. If you interested in admission there you will easily get admission.

You can get admission in TISS through cracking TISSNET .

eligibility criteria

Candidate must be graduate or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) in any stream from a recognized university/ college.
Final year appearing candidates can also apply on provisional basis.

After doing BA in sociol science one can become content writer, economist, social worker. There are private and well as government jobs available for BA social science graduates.

Other than this, one can do further education, some of the PG degrees are MA social science, MA social work, Content writing course, B.ed etc.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is the oldest institute in Asia to provide education in social work and is India’s pride. It was established in 1936 as Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work with 20 students. TISS Mumbai is the main campus of the institute but it does not provide any ug course. TISS Guwahati, TISS Hyderabad and TISS Tuljapur offers three-year BA Programme in Social Sciences and TISS Tuljapur also provides BA (Hons) course in Social Work with specialisation in Rural Development. yes, you can register for human resource management program.  the eligibility of   Human Resource Management, students  should have  bachelor's degree holder (10+2+3 of pattern) in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50 % marks in aggregate.In case of SC/ST/OBC the minimum marks can be 45%. the selection through entrance exam or merit base.

TISS MAT is a common entrance examination conducted by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Candidates who are looking for admission to MA in Human Resource Management & Labor Relations (HRM &LR) or MA in Organization Development, Change and Leadership (ODCL) courses need to appear for TISS MAT examination after TISSNET. TISSNET assesses the social aptitude of the participant whereas TISSMAT has been introduced to evaluate business aptitude of the participant.  In 2021 TISSNET will be conducted on February 20 and the dates of TISSMAT is still not announced but it is expected that the TISSMAT exam date will be in the month of March or April. so, you don't have to write the TISSMAT immediately after the TISSNET. There will be enough time between the exams possibly a month.
