The University Library is nascent with a specialized focus on developing multi-disciplinary, multi-format information resource collections providing knowledge and wisdom from various Indian systems of medicine. It is aimed at providing a ‘one-stop information’ source related to Indian Medical Heritage. Over the last 25 years, the consistent efforts of the Parent Foundation, FRLHT, and the University is to procure as many titles and resources as possible to create unique collections at this library useful for Students, scholars, and the research community. The University Library is a unique repository for over 8600 strong book collections related to Indian Medical heritage that includes such diverse subject areas as Philosophy, Psychology, Conservation, Social Sciences, Science, Flora, Medicinal Plants, Medicine and Health, Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Ayurveda, Yoga, Homeopathy, Siddha, Unani, Traditional Remedies, Agriculture, Forestry, Gardening, Veterinary Science, Etc.
