Eligibility Criteria

1- A pass in +2 (or its equivalent).

2- Those appearing for 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in March / April / May can appear for VTUEEE.

3- For the purpose of consideration for award of the Vel Tech Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship, the state from which the candidate has studied and appeared for the qualifying examination (12th standard examination of the State or Central Board) will be taken as the state to which the candidate belongs, even though the nativity of the candidate may be another State or Union Territory.

Direct Admission- 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by any State Board, Central Board of Higher Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi); The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi); National Institute of Open Schooling; Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board / University; High School Certificate Examination of the University of Cambridge or equivalent.

College Infrastructure

For CSE students, the infrastructure is solid. We have specialized labs like the Wipro Centre of Excellence and the Capgemini Centre of Excellence. The systems are generally up-to-date, and the Wi-Fi covers most of the academic blocks.It’s a very peaceful environment, but be prepared for a lot of walking!

My overall college experience was decent.

College Infrastructure

Vel Tech University has good infrastructure with clean classrooms, well-equipped labs, decent Wi-Fi, a solid library, and well-maintained hostels. Sports facilities and campus space are also good, making it comfortable for students overall.

It is good college comparetively others in Chennai

College Infrastructure

Placements are good, but not very good, All the maximum faculties are phd holders and the labs are very structured and good. There is a Mac lab also. They will provide training for placements and soft skill subjects as a part of academics. Many clubs are there like dance, musics, arts and drama, ncc, nss, photography.
