The medical facility in the institute has a 100 member bed capacity with doctors working 24/7 with additional paramedical support. There are first aid centres, hot water facilities, and reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment plant. The medical facilities in Vel Tech also include yoga and physiotherapy centre.

The Department of Physical Education, with its associated staff members, provide a well-equipped gym facility in every hostel.

The library is well-equipped with a good repository of books, journals and academic services, including digital tools for student references and research. It is spread across 2500 sq.m with four blocks and has a collection of 99,200 books, 40,000 E-books, 20,118 journals, and access to SCOPUS. Vel Tech provides both indoor and outdoor sports facilities for the holistic development of students during their academic life.
