Boys Hostel
Vel Tech campus provides hostel for boys to accommodate the students of the institute in the most comfortable and conducive manner. Hostel has its own mess with latest equipment which is managed and run by the cooks appointed by the University, keeping in mind the different tastes of the students with healthy and tasty food. Clean water is provided 24/7 for students usage needs. Pure drinking water is facilitated for drinking purposes. Hostel has uninterrupted electricity, Wi-Fi, recreation hall, medical facilities, shops for basic needs, gymnasium, outdoor and indoor games etc.
Girls Hostel
Vel Tech campus provides hostel for girls to accommodate the students of the institute in the most comfortable and conducive manner. The medical facility in the institute has a 100 member bed capacity with doctors working 24/7 with additional paramedical support. There are first aid centres, hot water facilities, and reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment plant. The medical facilities in Vel Tech also include yoga and physiotherapy centre.
Gym
The Department of Physical Education, with its associated staff members, provide a well-equipped gym facility in every hostel.
Library
The library is well-equipped with a good repository of books, journals and academic services, including digital tools for student references and research. It is spread across 2500 sq.m with four blocks and has a collection of 99,200 books, 40,000 E-books, 20,118 journals, and access to SCOPUS. Some of the E-Resources available are Scopus-ELSEVIER, ProQuest, IEEE, ASCE, ASME and DELNET etc.
Sports
Vel Tech provides both indoor and outdoor sports facilities for the holistic development of students during their academic life. The facility is planned and administered by the Department of Physical Education and Sports. The sports range from chess, athletics, volleyball, cricket, kabaddi, athletics etc.

College Infrastructure

Campus is pretty decent and has all the basic stuff sorted. ECE labs are actually useful, not just for namesake—there are setups for circuits, communication systems, and some mini project work too. Classrooms are normal with projectors, nothing too fancy but gets the job done. There are chill spots around campus where you can sit during breaks, and the canteen options are okay-ish. Wi-Fi is there, but sometimes speed depends on the crowd. Overall, it’s not luxury-level, but comfortable enough for daily college life

College Infrastructure

The campus at Vel Tech is quite well-developed with modern academic blocks and essential student facilities. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and smart learning tools, and labs are designed to support practical understanding, especially for engineering streams. The central library is large, with 80,000+ books and access to digital resources like IEEE and NPTEL, which is useful for studies . There are also sports grounds, gym facilities, and common areas for relaxation. For a day scholar, spending time between classes is comfortable, although some areas may feel crowded during peak hours.

College Infrastructure

For CSE students, the infrastructure is solid. We have specialized labs like the Wipro Centre of Excellence and the Capgemini Centre of Excellence. The systems are generally up-to-date, and the Wi-Fi covers most of the academic blocks.It’s a very peaceful environment, but be prepared for a lot of walking!
