Aakar Institute of Management and Research Studies Nagpur was established in 2009. As per the recommendation of NAAC an Internal Quality Assurance Cell is created to ensure the all round development of our institution. AIMRS Nagpur is a private institution, affiliated with Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur and approved by Govt. of Maharashtra.
AIMRS Nagpur offers three-year and two-year undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in full-time duration. The courses at the Aakar Institute of Management and Research Studies Nagpur include BBA, B.Com Computer Applications, MBA and MCM. Admission to these UG and PG courses will be based on the merit marks in past academic qualifications. Candidates applying for admission to MBA course is based on marks obtained in MAH MBA CET/ATMA entrance examination.
Aakar Institute of Management and Research Studies has a training and placement cell separately. The placement cell regularly follows up and monitors the performance of their students. AIMRS Nagpur provides industrial visits to its students to gain more knowledge about the industry.
