Abasaheb Kakade College of Education, Shevgaon Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has a huge library, having a collection of rare books. It is also well furnished and well equipped with internet facility to the teacher educators as well as student-teachers too. New books are issued with the help of Libreria Software. Book bank facility is also made available to student teachers. Overall books in the library are 7560, There are 344 teaching aids as well as 20 educational journals. A separate reading hall for the students is also available. E – Granthalaya (NIC) 

The College has a Science laboratory is providing space for the student teachers to experiment on various issues. Extra efforts are taken for the inculcation of scientific temper among the student teachers. Science Day is also celebrated each year on the 28th of February. To make students more active in the field of science, learning experiences are enriched. 

College Students from various places in Maharashtra are admitted to the girl’s hostel. There is the provision of Light, water, and sanitary facilities. A special Rector has been appointed to look after the girls. There is a separate appointment with a Doctor and medical-related facilities are provided to the students. Mess is also run by the professional one who arranges meals for the students. Students are strictly warned not to break rules and regulations of the college 

The college has a big playground, where many competitions are organized and played. Separate running tracks, football goalposts, kabaddi, and kho-kho grounds are also made available to the students. At the end of the academic year, in the month of February student teachers are asked to join a youth sports festival and student teachers show their natural instincts, these students are rewarded for their contribution to a specific sport, event, etc.

The College has built has separate rooms for the teacher educators to guide the student teachers. Microteaching groups are run in the same building. Each educator has a separate Method room with broadband internet connectivity. It is the place where everyone attempts excellence.
