Acharya First Grade College for Women, Chikkaballapur, Beginning from the session 1982-1983 has been the premier educational institution of the region committed for the cause of women education. This affiliated college is situated in Gauribidanur Karnataka and covers a 4-acre area conducive for learning. The college’s bright academic performance has led to its accreditation with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council abbreviated as NAAC. The institution's current enrolment of 173 students and is staffed by 17 faculties that make it easier to train focused and directed behaviour for every learner.

Acharya First Grade College for Women consists of number of facilities that gives extra edge to the college education its students. it has on the average 12 660 books in a computerised bar coding system, making it the academic library centre. Acharya First Grade College for Women, an affiliated College of Bengaluru North University, Kolar, offers two full-time undergraduate programmes: BA, the Bachelor of Arts and B.Com, the Bachelor of Commerce.
