Adesh Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Bathinda: Admission 2026, Cutoff, Courses, Fees, Placements, Ranking

AIDSR was founded in 2008 and is situated in Bathinda, Punjab; it is a recognised dental education institute. The constituent college of Adesh University, is a self-financed institution located in a 5-acre campus. The AIDSR is accredited with the Dental Council of India (DCI) thet give assurance of quality education in dental. The institute has a total of three courses taught under two degrees, and all courses are related to dental sciences. With a faculty with 45 members, AIDSR is able to offer friendly atmosphere in admitting students who want to venture into dentistry. Returning back to co-educational system of the institute, the atmosphere is diverse and open for student who others to achieve their dreams of being dentists.

AIDSR has equipped its centre with basic amenities of a befitting institution. The institute has a well-equipped central library with sufficient number of text books & reference hand books, e-journal, and national journals. Internet facilities, reprographic services and computerisation of the library have made it possible for students to find whatever they are looking for within the library. In addition, the reading hall is spacious. The campus also boasts of modern sports facilities both within the compound and outside to ensure the students are disease free and balance between work and play. An additional facility of AIDSR is two hostel facilities for boys and girls comprising home setup, adequate power and water supply and balanced diet. Facilities like Wi-Fi and computerised labs are incorporated as IT facilities in the institute for facilitating students internet connectivity and easy access to desired requirements. In case of an emergency, a health centre that serves the University with fully equipped physicians is availed to attend to emergencies.

At present, AIDSR has programmes consisting of three full-time course in dental sciences. The BDS course is an undergraduate course that spans five years and there is competition for the one hundred seats. At the postgraduate level, the institute offers two Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, and Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics. Both are of 3 years duration and take 3 seat-intake per specialisation. These programmes are aimed to allow the student to master the theoretical knowledge as well as their practical skills in many fields of dentistry. 

The admission of students into AIDSR is done through the student’s performance and consulting with admission guidelines. Depending on the BDS programme, the principle of admission to any college/university is based on the National Eligibility cum entrance test under Graduate (NEET-UG )Candidates who appear for NEET-UG aspirants should have cleared this test and should meet certain conditions provided by the institute. Likewise, for the MDS programmes, admission is done with respect to the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS (NEET MDS).
