    About Aditya College of Nursing, Bangalore

    Aditya College of Nursing, Bangalore, was established in 2003 and is located in Yelahanka, Bangalore. The institute is affiliated to INC and provides number of courses in the field of nursing. The college is located in a 1.2 acres campus and on an average it 456 students enrolled annually in a number of courses, directly or through lateral entry, along with a teaching staff of 15 members. The Aditya College of Nursing accommodates both male and female students and operates 8 courses at 3 degree levels dealing with different domains of nursing education. The college has been able to provide quality education within its field of specialty, making it a recognised higher learning institution in Bangalore.

    Aditya College of Nursing provides an elaborate provision of amenities essential for the academic and physical development of the learners. The campus comprises of boys’ hostels and girls’ hostels to cater for boarding students’ accommodation necessities which include visitors’ lounge, recreation hall and prayer rooms among others. The school library contains bibliographic collection of more than three thousand three hundred and fifty books and subscribes to e-journals through HELINET. The college embraces a competency based system with functional skills practical laboratory for each department such as Fundamentals of Nursing Laboratory, Biochemistry, Anatomy and Community Heath Nursing Laboratory. Concerning physical health, the students can take advantage of the sports facility in playing indoor and outside games as well as a gym. The college also provides healthcare services where first aid equipment is available, a cafeteria, and a giant hall of more than one thousand sittings for conferences and other related occasions.

    There are in total, 8 courses offered by Aditya College of Nursing and all the courses are full time. The programmes they offer are undergraduate programmes such as B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, post graduate programmes such as M.Sc in the various specialisation fields like Medical Surgical Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, and Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing. In addition, the college is offering a course which is known as General Nursing and Midwifery abbreviated as GNM. The overall limiting capacity of approvals for all disciplines is 175 students per year, of which B.Sc Nursing has the largest capacity at 60.

    The admission process in the Aditya College of Nursing has the aim to enrol worthy candidates to its offered nursing courses.
