Agarwal Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya college was established in 1999 at Gangapur City of Rajasthan. This NCTE recognised institution focuses on offering teacher education programmes. Situated on a compact 0.49-acre campus, the college offers two full-time courses: B.Ed and D.El.Ed. Currently having a faculty strength of 25 members, the institute focuses on producing future educators. The B.ED programme has an absorption enrolment of 200 students to train teachers.

The Agarwal Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya has installed various facilities in order to improve the learning environment of the students. These include a modern library facility stocked with over 10,106 books and subscriptions to national educational journals and magazines. Besides, with the use of the DELNET (Delhi Library Network) system, the library has e-journals to make students enjoy a wide range of information from digital sources. The college caters to the practical skills and needs of every teacher-educator and has the following speciality laboratories: Education Technology Laboratory, Psychology Laboratory, Art and Craft Laboratory, Language Laboratory and Science Laboratory. These are learning places that afford practical experiences important in teacher training.

Agarwal Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya offers two primary courses: These two programmes include a two-year Bachelor's in Education (B.Ed) and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The B.Ed programme, which is the flagship course, has been approved for 200 student intake, and there is no specified intake for the D.El.Ed programme. Both programmes are full-time, on-campus-based programmes aimed at producing professional teachers and educators. These two core programmes in the college enable central and focused training for teachers, thus making the training programme highly specialised.

At Agarwal Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, admission is also given on the basis of marks secured by aspiring candidates in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination. It is important to note that the college operates under the standard admission policies as provided by the state government of Rajasthan as well as the biased university affiliation. For the B.Ed programme, it was seen that candidates are preferred who have a bachelor’s degree in any field with the minimum percentage prescribed by the regulatory body. The D.El.Ed programme mainly insists on candidates who should have had their 10+2 education.
