AGS College of Education, Boisar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has a Library that provides services to the faculty members and students from the B.Ed Course. In this regard, the library has acquired 5008 books and more than 100 educational CDs, including journals. The library subscribes to 1 International Journal and nearly 16th Periodicals, including magazines, Journals, and 4 Newspapers. The library is constantly enriched,d and new material is added to keep abreast with the latest changes and advancements in the field of education. The library is automated with SOUL software. Search for any document can be made through the Online Public –Access-Catalogue (OPAC). The library also provides a Book Bank Facility for Backward Classes for the whole year. The library staff, led by Librarian Mrs. Kavita Mogare, is always at the service of the reader. Facilities during their reference hour. For the convenience of the readers, a photocopying facility has also been provided on the library premises.

The College has a Psychology Laboratory. The college has a separate Psychology Laboratory which has all the tests and the required equipment for conducting psychology experiments, included in the B.Ed. syllabus. Educational Technology Lab Educational Technology is vital to making the teaching-learning process interesting and effective. Thus, the student teacher should be trained in the use of this technology. To provide the student teachers with first-hand experience in using important hardware and software technologies in education, the institution has a well-equipped educational technology cell. The ET cell has a variety of equipment, such as LCD projectors, overhead projectors, slide projectors, tape recorders, DVD players, etc., which can contribute to making teaching and learning appealing. The ET cell also has a wide number of Audio and Video cassettes which help student teachers to facilitate multi-sensory learning. The institute has the following laboratories: the CURRICULUM LAB, Computer Laboratory, Psychology Laboratory,y Educational Technology Laboratory,y Social Science Laboratory, and  Language Laboratory.

The College has a canteen in the college from which our students get tasty and hygienic food.
