In 1978, the Ahmednagar Jilha Maratha Vidya Prasark Samaj founded New Arts, Commerce, and Science College in Shevgaon, and it is a co-educational college situated in Shevgaon, Maharashtra. This institution has been in existence for over forty years and is located in a 13-acre compound. The college has expanded to thirteen courses in seven degrees for a total enrolment of 1584 students. The college has 75 committed members on the faculty side, and this makes the student-teacher ratio considerably favourable so that every student gets proper focus and academic experience. 

In order to provide a more enhanced learning environment for students, New Arts, Commerce, and Science College houses many facilities. One of the special architectural features is the boys’ hostel, which is located on the front of the college structure. It has the capacity to house over twenty students and has basic needs and necessities such as beds, chairs, tables, water coolers, and solar water heaters, among others. The mess facility provides breakfast, tea, lunch, dinner, etc. to provide the students with the required nutrition they need. Lovers of sports will have remarkable occasions to develop their interest as the college has a range of sports facilities. In the field of academics, the facility is provided with proper laboratories for different departments.

With regard to academic programmes, as will be discussed in detail later, the college offers all-round courses. These include B.Com, BA, B.Sc., B.Sc. with computer science, and BCA at undergraduate level. For the postgraduate students, it provides M.Com., M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Physics, and MA in Marathi, Hindi, History, and Geography. These courses are all on a full-time basis, thus providing students an excellent opportunity to dive deep into their area of interest.
