Bachelor in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) is a four-year full-time course offered by the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The admission process is carried out through a Common Entrance Test, titled as MAH-B.HMCT-CET, conducted by the D.T.E on behalf of the State Common Entrance Cell & Admission Regulatory Authority of Government of Maharashtra. On the basis of the merit in the CET, as well as the reservation policy and other guidelines the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) is then carried out for admission. Generally, the admission process starts early in the month of April each year.
A candidate should have passed the H.S.C (XII) or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks [40% for Reserve Category] from any of the streams – Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ MCVC/ Home Science.
