AJMVPS's Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Ahmednagar, AJMVPS was established in 1997 as one of the premier institutions for hospitality education. This institute is a coeducational venture set up in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. It is affiliated to S. P. Pune University and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The campus is located on a plot of 1.42 acres with a proper atmosphere for learning and practical training. This institute has an enrolment of 242 students and a faculty strength of 9, making the student-teacher ratio very conducive for learning. 

AJMVPS's Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology is Affiliated College of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology has, under its umbrella, a series of facilities that serve to make learning an enriching experience for the students. The library, filled with a wealth of knowledge that contains myriad resources on hospitality management and other allied areas, is there to upgrade learning. State-of-the-art laboratories offer hands-on training whereby the students hone their culinary and hospitality skills through practice. The IT infrastructure keeps the students updated with the latest technological developments in the industry. The institution provides a well-equipped gym and sports facilities for those students who have zealous interest in physical fitness. It also has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, which make the process of adjusting to a new place quite comfortable for the out-of-town students. AJMVPS Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology offers the following two full-time courses in hospitality management: BHMCT is the four-year course, and the three-year course is B.Sc. in Hospitality Studies. The former aims at bringing to their lives skills and knowledge related to all the dynamic forms of the hospitality industry.

The Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology has different admission procedures for different programs selected.  For BHMCT, admission will be given as per Maharashtra Bachelor of Hotel Management Common Entrance Test, MAH-BHMCT-CET, conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, DTE on behalf of the State Common Entrance Cell and Admission Regulatory Authority of Maharashtra. A process of admission strictly in accordance with the CET merit, reservation policy and guidelines will be further initiated in a centralised manner.
