Akal College of Pharmacy and technical Education, Mastuana, established in the year 2001, is an affiliated college at Sangrur, Punjab. The institute is affiliated with the AICTE & PCI which gives it a standard education in the field of pharma sciences. The college is located at a 5000sqm compound with 5 courses in 3 degree programmes for a total enrolment of 204 students. The institute has a strength of 21 members of teaching faculties to maintain a reasonable student teacher ratio. Akal college of pharmacy offers specialization in the numerous pharmaceutical streams like Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy etc. that enhance the pharmacy knowledge to its students.
Akal College of Pharmacy and technical Education offers a number of amenities to improve students’ learning process and their personal growth in general. The campus consist of well equipped laboratories which are fundamental for practical exercise in arm pharmaceutical course. A modern library is one that can source, store and disseminate all forms of information through books, journals and the use of computers. Its recreational and physical fitness facilities include a sports area and a gym for the college. The IT infrastructure provides necessary technology to the students require to study at present. They also have different hostels for boys and girls if they wish to reside within the school compound. It also has a college auditorium for occasions like events and seminars, and college cafeteria for the provisions of the meals needs of the students and the college staff. There is a health center with first aid for any emergencies that might occur, to the workers as well as to the students.
