Aklia Educational and Research Society Group of Institutions are located in Bathinda, Punjab state of India was established in 2005 to increase the Technical Education in Punjab. It is affiliated college situated in Goniana Mandi having its 15 acre vast piece of land having various engineering and management courses. Accredited by AICTE, the institute has made its presence of felt in the domain of higher education as such. Currently having 179 student enrolled with 34 teachers makes the institute to have a good students teachers ratio which means student get enough attention and quality education.

It has been equipped with numerous facilities of high standards in their field all helping in the effective of teaching and learning process. Any academic resource is centred round a good library stocking up books, Indian and foreign magazines, national and international journals. Air-conditioned and architecturally designed, the library has Library Management Software, which is of its own development, thus offering students state of art environment suitable for research and other studies. In the college, there are good numbers of practical demonstration departments like Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Network, and digital labs which are well-equipped with modern engineering tools and instruments. Aklia Educational and Research Society Group of Institutions also focuses on the overall growth of the students through facilities formed for sports and an efficient computer lab regarding the fast-growing IT sector.

The Aklia Educational and Research Society Group of Institutions has in total six courses in three degree programmes to meet different concerns of students. It offers under graduate full time courses in Engineering and Management with total intake of one hundred seventy nine students across aspiring courses. The options being B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering ,B.Tech in Electrical Engineering ,B.Tech in Civil Engineering, these are forming the main pillars of technical education. For those who have aspirations to Study Management, the institute provides an MBA course. Furthermore, there is a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme for any students who want to focus on computer application only.

Aklia Educational and Research Society Group of Institutions follows various rules and standards while providing admissions which are merit-based and clear. For the B.Tech programmes, most of the colleges give admission trough JEE Main score and some through CET conducted by the PTU, Jalandhar. Open image MBA students can take admission by their performance in Common Admission Test (CAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), and PAM CAT entrance test for PB Punjabi University PTU.. The MCA programme also uses the scores of the PAM CAT for placement of the students in the programme. The institute also provides Management quota for those who have merited it in all the programmes it offers.
