AACL, also known as Al-Ameen College of Law, was founded in 1991 and is part of the Al-Ameen Educational Society, established in 1966. Al-Ameen College of Law has received accreditation from NAAC and recognition from the Bar Council of India for providing legal education.

Affiliated with the Karnataka State Law University, Hubli, Al-Ameen College offers courses in the law stream. The courses include an Integrated Double Degree programme for Students- BA LLB (5 years) for class 12 passed-out students and a 3-year LLB programme for graduation.
