Al-Irshad Arts and Science College for Women Kozhikode is one such college which started very recently in 2014 and has been aiming at contributing their best for the women education. Affiliated to the university, this affiliated college is located at Thechiyad, Kallurutty PO, Omassery and offers only female students quality education. The college takes an overall of 215 students and twelve faculty members which creates a noble environment to encourage student’s personality development as well as meritorious performance. At the moment, the institution teaches 7 courses in 4 degree programmes in areas of commerce, economics, English, psychology and zoology.

Al-Irshad Arts and Science College for Women has many in its disposal, which are meant to improve learning environment as well as the development needs of students. The library plays a central role and avails physical and material items for learning relevant to educational activities.
