Al Kareem College of Nursing, Gulbarga owned and run by Almaraque Educational Trust, formed in the year 2003 pave the path for healthcare education in Karnataka, India. This coeducational institution is located right in the city of Gulbarga and has been preparing the future of nursing for almost two decades. The college is a 6-acre one, and it is an affiliated college with RGUHS, recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) to give its students a course regimented by the Indian Nursing Council. It aims at delivering an education-learning experience combining both arts and sciences with a qualifying examination with 342 total student enrolments and 29 faculty officials on staff. The institute offers a wide spectrum of nursing curricula, which include five degree courses, seven aggregate board courses and 2 degree courses.

One of the greatest strengths of the college is the availability of resources whose purpose is to improve the student learning environment. This brick-and-mortar facility for learning currents has over 100 students at a time and has thousands of books in addition to special material on manifold nursing topics. To support practical learning activities, the college has functional department-based laboratories. The building also houses a large 3000 sq. ft.

Al Kareem College of Nursing is catering to all the necessary nursing programmes for different aims and goals of the career related to the healthcare field. The institute offers 7 full-time courses, out of which some are undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes. At the undergraduate level, the college offers a four-year B.Sc. nursing programme with 40 seats for the course and a two-year post-B.Sc. nursing programme with 30 seats. For those who wish to have a more focused area of study, the college offers the following 2-year M.Sc. Nursing programmes: Community Health Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing and Paediatric Nursing.
