Alliance School of Film and Media Studies, Bengaluru is a constituent college of Alliance University. The college provides undergraduate programmes that include BA (Hons.) - Journalism and Mass Communication, B. Sc. (Hons.) - Film & Television Production and B. Sc. (Hons.) - Animation, VFX and Gaming.

Admission to Alliance School of Film and Media Studies, Bengaluru is made on the basis of candidates past academic performance, national test scores, followed by a personal interview. Candidates are evaluated based on their performance in the national entrance exam or Alliance entrance exam, academic performance through school and college, their involvement in extracurricular activities, and their performance in various aspects on the selection day. 

Scholarships are offered to students across all programmes. Merit scholarships based on national entrance exam scores and academic results are announced by the Alliance Scholarship Committee. Scholarships worth Rs. 6 crore are available for meritorious students. Category-based scholarships are offered by the registrar’s office on a first-come, first-served basis.
