72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Economics shall be for a minimum duration of two years, including coursework, and a maximum of five years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, the University of Calicut, Malappuram.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have a Master’s degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Economics or an allied discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.
Admission Details
Admission based on the Ph.D. Entrance Test and Interview, as per University regulations.
Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET/JRF (including LS), UGC-CSIR, SLET, or equivalent examinations are exempted from the entrance test as per norms.
