The sanctioned intake of the B.Ed programme in AMG College of Education for Women is 100 seats. Admission to the B.Ed course is made on a merit basis based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the performance in the entrance exam. Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree to be eligible for the B.Ed course.
The D.Ed course has 50 seats for the future teachers. The admission procedure in D.Ed is the same as B.Ed, with merit-based selection. The candidates are selected on the basis of qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The admission procedure is according to the criteria set by the state government and UT administration. The eligibility is generally on the basis of completion of 10+2 or equivalent qualification.
