36 MonthsDoctor of Medicine (MD) in Ayurved Samhita is a three-year full-time course offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, and approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM).
The M. D. in Ayurveda Samhita & Siddhanta is a Non – Clinical course provides research training in the study of classical texts of Ayurveda, their scientific exploration and validation. The aim of the course is to provide orientation of specialties and super specialties of Ayurveda and to produce experts and specialist who can be competent and efficient teachers, physicians, surgeons in various field of Ayurveda.
Eligibility Criteria
A person possessing a degree in Ayurved or a University or Board or medical institution specified in the second schedule to the Act shall be eligible for admission In the post-graduate degree course.
Admission Details
The admission shall be on the basis of AIAPGET exam.
