MD Kayachikitsa at Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amritapuri Offline Course

Doctor of Medicine in Kayachikitsa is a Clinical Course. The course imparts training in the division of General Medicine in Ayurveda. Kayachikitsa, representing the school of medicine forms the basis for all other branches of Ayurvedic treatment and hence this lays the foundation for shaping a skilled Ayurvedic physician.

The program will equip the scholar to design a treatment protocol comprising of a range of internal and external medications as well as specialized therapies according to the nature of the disease and the patient.

DURATION: Three years from the date of commencement of classes.

CURRICULUM: As per Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) and University – Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham
