72 MonthsDoctor of Pharmacy (Pharma.D) is a 6-year full-time integrated program course offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore and approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Doctor of Pharmacy is a hospital oriented globally accepted pharmacy programme. This is a six-year programme after completion of the plus two with science stream. The programme is designed to make the students competent as per the global demand in management of patient medication therapy and improve patient outcomes. The students undergo one year internship/residency during the final year (6th year) in the various major departments of the specialty teaching hospital in the campus
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should be of minimum 17 years and maximum 23 years as on December 31st of each admission year.
- Pass in Plus Two with an aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Students who have studied Mathematics in place of Biology are also eligible.
- Any other qualification approved by Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
