Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) is a four- year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in pharmacy education course offered by IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The students who are interested in the medical field (except to become a doctor) can choose this course after the completion of class 12th (PCM/B). They can get admission to one of the Top B.Pharmacy Colleges in Punjab, India to get a degree in Pharmacy. One can practice as a Pharmacist after the successful completion of this degree. A wide range of industries related to the prescription, manufacture & provision of medicinesis open to a Pharmacist. The B.Pharmacy is one of the popular job-oriented courses among science students after class 12th. Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for B. Pharmacy 4 year course

The candidates passing the10+2 examination from a board recognized by Central/State Government through legislation with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the subject i.e. Mathematics/Biotechnology/ Biology shall eligible to apply. Furthermore, the candidate should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together (as per AICTE Guidelines).

Eligibility criteria for B. Pharmacy 2nd Year, (3rd Semester) (Lateral Entry) 3 year course

Candidates havingDiploma in Pharmacy from an institution affiliated to the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training/Punjabi University, Patiala or any other University or any State Board of Technical Education shall eligible to apply provided that, the must be duly approved by the Pharmacy Council of India/AICTE. Along with this, the candidates should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST category) in the above-mentioned qualifying examination

Admission Details

At AGC, Admission to course for the session 2020 is based on AGC NEST: Scholarship cum Entrance Exam. Through AGC NEST, a candidate can avail a scholarship upto 1.5 Lac.
