Ankerite College of Pharmacy, Lucknow, was established in the year 2019, which is a new entity among the pharmaceutical education scenario in Uttar Pradesh. This affiliated college at Sausir Khera, Vill-Parvar Purab, Post-Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, is affiliated with and approved by All India Council for Technical Education. The institute offers two full-time programmes in pharmacy: a 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy, D.Pharma, and a 4-year undergraduate degree course, Bachelor of Pharmacy, B.Pharma. Both courses have an approved intake capacity of 60 students.

Ankerite College of Pharmacy, has various facilities, from which one is the Ankerite Library, one of the biggest in Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. It consists of approximately 10,000 books, with sitting accommodation for about 100 students. There are subscriptions for 15 journals, 10 periodicals, and 6 newspapers to help students avail rich resources for their academic and general knowledge. The college has well-maintained, fully equipped modern laboratories that include a machine room, central instrument room, Pharma analysis lab, and many more specialised labs related to different aspects of pharmaceutical studies. Besides these, a fully air-conditioned IT infrastructure helps the students stay in touch with the latest trends in information technology. 

It is currently offering two courses to students in the field of pharmacy. The D. Pharma runs for 2 years, while the B. Pharma stretches to 4 years. Both the courses are full-time with approved intake of 60 each. Thus, there will be a total of 120 seats for these two courses. The courses are designed in a way that at the end of the course(s), the students shall be equipped with complete knowledge and practical exposure in pharmaceutical sciences, which enable them to find placement in different sectors of the pharmacy industry.

The admission process at Ankerite College of Pharmacy is designed to be easy and hassle-free for the aspiring student of pharmacy. Probably, the college insists on good academic performance in relevant subjects but may conduct its independent admission test or accept scores taken in recognised exams as a means of entry into the study of pharmacy.
