Annai College of Engineering and Technology (ACET) which was started in the year 2001 is situated at Kumbakonam Tamilnadu. This college affiliated to the University is AICTE approved that is nestled in a 10.1 acres campus. There are 9 undergraduate engineering programmes under one degree, admitting a total of 1,016 students. The institute faculty is comprised of 151 members, which means that the institute provides a good student-teacher ratio.

The college holds the belief in offering faculty equipped with appropriate learning facilities in creating a favorable learning environment. The campus comprises of very equipped laboratories for each engineering disciplines in order to promote practicals among the students. A large library extending over 9,200 sq. ft. alongs with inventory of text and reference books is also available with an ERP integrated Library Information System. To ensure the students get comfortable accommodation for their stay, the ACET has two hostels, a boys’ hostel and a girls’. It offers the students various services whereby they are accorded a health check from the colleges’ health centre. Annai College of Engineering and Technology provides 9 full time undergraduate engineering programs. The institute, in all this programs, has an approved admission capacity of five hundred and forty students. The BE Civil Engineering, BE Mechanical Engineering and BE Electronics & Communication Engineering has 120 seats and B.Tech Information Technology, BE Electrical and Electronics, BE Computer Science and Engineering has 60 seats each. All the programmes of study are of four years’ duration and are delivered normally in full-time time mode.

The admission process of Annai College of Engineering and Technology follows the principles of easy admission for all students. The college considers previous academic performance in qualifying examination courses. TNEA is the exam through which Anna University admit engineering students, and ACET is one of the institutions that accept TNEA results.
