Anvarul Islam Women’s Arabic College, Mongam, Malappuram, Kerala was started in the year 1968, and it is an affiliated College. One of its facilities is a modern computer class with fifty computers which allow students to develop basic IT competencies. The college also has a girl’s hostel which accommodate one hundred and fifty students for those who come from remote area.

At undergraduate level, the programmes offered are BA Afzal Ul Ulama, BA Functional Arabic and BA Economics with Islamic Finance, all of which take 3 years to complete. MA Afzal Ul Ulama is a two years postgraduate programme. Besides, the college provides a Ph.D. in Arabic which may take a candidate 6 years to complete.

BA Functional Arabic (Honours): A 3 years undergraduate program with 40 students intake; this course intends to attract students interested in the Arabic language's practical applications. BA Economics with Islamic Finance (Honours): This unique program for 3 years allowing intake of 40 students integrates economics and Islamic finance principles. MA Afzal Ul-Ulama: This 2-year Master program has approval for intake of 10 students. The admission procedure for this program is more elaborate.
