AIE currently offers two full-time B.Tech programmes: Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The two are of four years’ duration These programmes were aimed at producing professional students with strong backgrounds in their areas of specialization. Electronics & Communication Engineering programme has a sanctioned admission limit of 60 students only, but the limit on admission of the Computer Science & Engineering programme is unknown. These programmes are designed to suit today’s market needs to ensure that the students graduate fit the job market with the knowledge and skills to excel within the advanced and ever changing technological environment.

Admission into the AIE is done on merit, and the student’s performance in the qualifying examination is considered. The institute recognizes scores from Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) which is one of the country’s leading engineering examinations.
