Arunai College of Engineering, Tiruvannamalai was started in the year 2001 as an affiliated college offered in Tamil Nadu, India. For the spread out area of 27.04 acres of land, this institute has established different engineering programmes for the admitted student population of 547. Currently, the college has 198 faculties which can be regarded as a very effective number in terms of student to teacher ratio. Arunai College of Engineering offers five B.E programmes all of which are regular programmes. The institute strives to produce world class technical education and ensure a favourable learning environment to its converging populace.
The college has many today’s facilities to facilitate its academic activities. The library and information center was set up in 2009 and comprises a vast book and journal collection.” All books are for use and not for decoration.” There are 600 DTPs, 9 computer science laboratories and a leased internet line of 20 MBPS on the campus of the institute. The facility is Wi-Fi equipped, and they can connect to the internet at high speeds anywhere on the campus. In the additional curricular setting, the college provide sporting amenities and a modern gym. A centrally air-conditioned auditorium with 500- teaching capacity is available which is used for conducting academic programmes and other academic related activities like seminar and workshops.
