The Asian Institute of Nursing Education, Guwahati, established in 2004, is located in North Guwahati, Assam. The college prepares efficient healthcare personnel. AINE Guwahati is an INC (Indian Nursing Council)-approved college with excellent standards in education. This gives it a small campus of 0.49 acres to ensure a focused learning environment. With a total of 268 students, the faculty strength is 12, therefore, it gives individual concentration towards a student at AINE, Guwahati. Courses Offered There are 7 courses offered at this institute across 3 levels of degrees. 

These involve various nursing disciplines, mainly for female students, only. Facilities AINE, Guwahati ensures excellent facilities are provided for its students. The college has a well-stocked library comprising a large number of faculties in the reference section, along with textbooks and journals, and is also equipped with modern facilities like internet connectivity and CD viewing facilities. Besides this, for hands-on training, fully furnished laboratories include a Nursing Art Laboratory and Medical-surgical Nursing Laboratory, Community Health Nursing Laboratory, MCH Nursing Laboratory, Nutrition Laboratory, and Anatomy and Physiology Laboratory. The organisation also ensured safe and comfortable living by having a girls' hostel on the campus at Usha Nagar, Dispur. Other facilities also included in the campus: health centre, gym, sports facilities, IT Infrastructure, auditorium, and transport facilities to support the development of students for a holistic educational experience. 

The institute organises different nursing programs in undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma levels. The flagship program of the college is B.Sc. Nursing, with an intake of 100 students. The college also offers the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing program with an intake of 25 students. At the postgraduate level, AINE, Guwahati, extends M.Sc. programs in Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, and Paediatric Nursing with an intake capacity of 4-5 students. Besides, this institute provides a Post Basic Diploma in Oncology with 20 seats. All programs run on a full-time basis, hence offering the students intensive and comprehensive training in their nursing career.

Admission procedure in AINE Guwahati depends upon the program.  The test will be conducted in the medium of the English language. The curriculum of the test underlines the importance of the science subjects being at the base of the students. All the candidates who have passed the test and have been shortlisted need to appear for a final interview. Candidates must attend the interview with the original certificates, mark sheets, and other documents, upon which the decision will be taken.
