The ASPEE College of Nutrition and Community Science, Sardarkrushinagar, was established in 1981 as the premier constituent college in Gujarat, India. It is a co-educational institution working toward the development of nutrition and community science education with a wide spectrum of courses offered at the bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. levels. With a faculty strength of 11 dedicated professionals, the institution offers courses at three degree levels in Home Science, Nutrition, Food Science, and Community Science. 

The facilities for infrastructure in this college are quite impressive and help in enriching the learning environment of students. The library, which is a knowledge resource center, has over 2,200 books, and it has a reading hall that accommodates 30 students at a time for studying. It is proposed to be developed as an e-library soon, thus increasing its resources manifold. The laboratories in the college are also fully equipped and provide practical experience for the students in their respective fields. The institute provides separate hostels for boys and girls, both with an intake capacity of 144 students. Some of the facilities provided in the hostels include basic amenities, security on a 24x7 basis, facilities for indoor and outdoor games, and cooperative dining messes.

ASPEE College of Nutrition and Community Science offers courses in full-time Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral programs. At the undergraduate level, there is B.Sc Home Science and Nutrition (Hons) and B.Sc Community Science (Hons). Postgraduate programs include M.Sc Food Science and Nutrition, and M.Sc Extension Education and Communication Management and M.Sc Human Development and Family Studies. And, at the Doctoral level there is Ph.D programme in Food Science and Nutrition.

The ASPEE College of Nutrition and Community Science admission process is different for all courses. For example, UG courses like B.Sc Community Science are done with the Gujarat Common Entrance Test- GUJCET. Postgraduate admissions, including MSc. in Food Science and Nutrition, Human Development and Family Studies, and Extension Education and Communication Management, are made on merit. Admissions to doctorals are made through an entrance test in the respective subject.
