ATSVS Siddha Medical College and Hospital, Kanyakumari, was established as a recognized institution for study in Siddha medicine. The admission procedure at the college is through a merit-based admission system whereby students are mainly chosen on the basis of NEET UG marks and hence only the deserving candidates are admitted to the Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS) course. Admission to this program is purely on the merit of the candidate in the NEET UG examinations, and this course is conducted with full attendance and for the purpose of any successful student of the 10+2 who qualified by NEET UG.

The admission process for BSMS proceeds in this order:

1. Qualifying in the NEET UG examination and obtaining a ranking competitive score;
2. Meeting the minimum eligibility required by the college and statutory organizations;
