The admission board puts great emphasis on ensuring that the admission process at Aul Colleges is primarily on merit calculated from the marks obtained by students in their 10+2 exams or equivalent; marks thereby obtained in relevant subjects may also be taken into consideration in some specified programs being offered by the college for admission. Aul College generally follows the academic calendar of the university to open its admission process,  maintaining a favorable student-teacher ratio capable of providing personalized attention to each student and ensuring quality education.

Application Procedure

The application procedure generally follows the norms set for an admission procedure in Aul College of Kendrapara.

1. Announcement of Admission: The college announces an admission process through its official website with help from the local media. 

2. Application Form: Students can pick up their application from the college campus or download it with a help link from the official website.

3. Form Filling: Students are to fill out all particulars in the form prescribed with accuracy regarding their personal and educational matters.

4. Submission of Documents: Applicants must attach the following documents along with the completed application form:

• 10th and 12th mark-sheets and certificates
• Character certificate from the last attended institution
• Migration certificate (if applicable)
• Caste certificate (for reserved category students)
• Recent passport-size photograph;

5. Application Submission: Dully filled application form and all necessary documents must be submitted to the concerned admission office of the college on or before the due date.

6. The preparation of a Merit List: The college prepares a merit list based on the marks in the qualifying examination and any other criteria that might have been specified for that particular program.

Degree-Wise Admission Process

BA (Bachelor of Arts): A total of 256 seats are offered within a BA program by Aul College. Admission to BA is based on the merit list drawn from the marks obtained by the applicants in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent). The candidates applying for BA must have completed their higher secondary education from a recognized board.

B.Sc (Bachelor of Science): The B.Sc admissions are held at Aul College in the same manner as BA admissions. The detailed number of B.Sc seats is not declared, although admission is gained through merit list from 10+2 or equivalent examination. For B.Sc admission, more emphasis may be laid on marks in science subjects.

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): Aul College also runs the B.Com program, where admission is granted on the basis of merit. The college considers the overall performance in the 10+2 examination more, especially in some subjects related to commerce. The total number of seats for B.Com is 128.
