Avanthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Vizianagaram (AIPS Vizianagaram) was established in 2005 and is part of the Avanthi Group of Institutions. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK). AIPS Vizianagarm courses include B.Pharm, six-year PharmD, four M.Pharm programmes, and a three-year PharmD Post Baccalaureate programme. JNTUK admissions are done on the basis of AP EAMCET for the 4-year B.Pharm course and 6-year PharmD programme. Admissions to M.Pharm and PharmD (PB) programmes are done on the basis of GPAT/ AP PGECET scores. Candidates have to participate in the centralised counselling process after appearing for the entrance exam. AIPS facilities include spacious classrooms, library, and well equipped laboratories for different departments, instrumentation room, and machine room.
