Azad Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Lucknow, is one of the prevalent institutes for pharmacy education, established in 2005. The institute imparts two types of full-time courses in pharmacy: a four-year undergraduate degree course in B.Pharma and a two-year diploma course in D.Pharma. The B.Pharma course has an approved intake of 100 seats, while the D.Pharma programme offers 60 seats.
