Baikunthi Devi Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Agra was established in 1967 with the motto of “Tamso ma Jyotirgamaya”, is providing educational needs to the women of the Agra region. Baikunthi Devi Kanya Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra. The college is also accredited with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college has been a recipient of State Merit Grant for 15 years. The special achievement of Baikunthi Devi Kanya Mahavidyalaya has been to take full advantage of University Grants Commission in aid and full contribution of managing the committee.

Baikunthi Devi college offers various Undergraduate (UG) courses in various disciplines such as Arts, Science, Fine Arts, Education, Commerce, BBA, and MA (Home Science, Economics). Besides U.G courses there are four PG departments in the Faculty of Arts, two in the Faculty of Fine Arts and B.Ed and M.Ed in the Faculty of Education. Around 65 students are enrolled for the Ph.D. degree. Candidates can take admission to BDKMV UG and PG courses by satisfying the eligibility criteria. BDKMV admissions are granted on the basis of a qualifying exam.

Final-year students need to fill out the placement opportunity form in online mode. Baikunthi Devi Kanya Mahavidyalaya has a campus that is spread over 76 acres of land. Apart from that there is a library, hostel, IT Infrastructure, Equipped wi-fi, classrooms, and cafeteria.
